Ghana midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng insists he is happy to be back in Italy after completing his switch to U.S Sassuolo.

The 31 year old joined the Neroverde on a two-year deal from German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.

He spent one fruitful season with the Eagles, clinching the German Cup last season- Frankfurt’s first silverware in three decades.

He was unveiled on Friday afternoon at the Mapei headquarters in Sassuolo with CEO of the Giovanni Carnevali taking part in the conference table.

It is a return to Italy for Boateng, who played for Genoa and Milan.

Following the completion of the formalities, Boateng took to his social media page to express his joy.
