Musician Kofi Kinaata,born Martin King Arthur , has parted ways with  High Grade Family, ending a five years relationship with the record label headed by dance hall guru, Samini.

Reports indicates the "susuka" hit maker has had some serious  issues with his former boss Samini, for which he has decided not to renew his contract with the High Grade Family Record Label.

Both camps are yet to come out with what could have had heralded the break-up.

His break away from the High Grade Family makes him the fourth musiciain to leave the record lable after E.L, Kakie and Gallaxy all left at a point in time.

Kofi Kinata, broke into the music industry some five years ago and has shown determination to be consistent and remains one of the very popular musicians from the West.

He is known for his unique rap style which has earned him a place in the heart of music lovers.

Kinaata shot to fame when he featured on ‘Odo Pa’ by Castro also featuring Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan.

He went on to release his very hit song ‘Susuka’ which went viral about three years ago.

He the deadlock from the west-side into the mainstream with his unique rap-style five years ago and has since been consistent.

A High Grade signee and the name behind the “Susuka” hit song is rumoured to have left his record label High Grade Family.

Last year December, Kofi hosted the "Made in Tadi" Concert which saw the whole city of Takoradi brought to a standstill.

There were over 30 celebrated artistes who graced the occasion with massive performances.

Other popular songs by Kofi Kinaata are: “Last Show”, "Made In Taadi", "Confession", just to mention a few.
