Ghana Premier League club Medeama SC have issued a hands off warning to Asante Kotoko over their pursuit of midfielder Akwasi Donsu.

Reports in the local media have linked Donsu to the Porcupine Warriors in recent weeks as C.K Akunnor seeks to bolster his squad ahead of resumption of football league in the country.

However manager of the Mauves, Samuel Boadu has dismissed the reports and insists Kotoko can’t afford the midfielder.

“Kotoko can't buy any player from Medeama. They can't buy any player of Moses Parker,” Coach Boadu told Oyerepa FM.

“Kotoko should check the price tag of our players and they won't even dare come close.”

“Gone are the days they bought our players but not now. They should forget about Kwasi Donsu whom I’m hearing they are interested in.”

“They can't buy him nor any other player.”
