Asante Kotoko inflicted a 2-0 defeat on WA All Stars at the Malik Jabir Park in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Porcupine warriors grabbed the opener on the stroke of half time courtesy of a beautiful finish by skipper Amos Frimpong.

Striker Frederick Boateng sealed the victory in injury time to ensure they run away comfortable winners.

Boateng who joined the Kumasi-based giants before the start of the campaign has now scored 3 goals in his opening 4 league games for the club.

The result meant that Kotoko have ended a run of 9 away games in the league without victory.

Three points also takes their points tally to 14 after nine matches played this season.
