Kumasi Asante Kotok have parted ways with talented goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe after his short  but difficult spell with the club.

The former Medeama goalie joined Kotoko after failing to secure a move outside to Ethiopian outfit St Georges.

The giant goalkeeper has been deemed surplus to requirements at Kotoko after falling down the pecking order behind no 1 Felix Annan with Kwame Baah preferred as his under study.

Youth team product Danland has even kept post with Muntari Tagoe been overlooked at the club.

The 27 year old goalkeeper has survived several culls at the club after falling out of favour but it is believed the contract termination was a mutual decision.

Tagoe has played for Lusaka Dynamos of Zambia and was part of the Medeama team that played in the 2016 Caf Confederations Cup group stage.
