Kumasi Asante Kotoko have continued with the reshaping of their technical team after a dreadful 2020/2021 season which ended with the club going trophy-less.

The porcupine warriors have appointed former WAFA gaffer Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum as their new coach and his backroom staff is taking shape.

He will be assisted by two coaches namely former Liberty Professionals coach David Ocloo and former Inter Allies assistant coach John Eduafo.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko were last season handled by Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto but he presided over a woeful run failing to win the Ghana Premier League title despite his team leading the pack at some point in the season by seven points.

They were also knocked out of the MTN FA Cup at the semi finals stage by Berekum Chelsea on penalty shoot out ending the season trophy-less.

Kotoko have named former Liberty Professionals gaffer David Ocloo and John Eduafo who was part of the technical team of relegated Inter Allies as his new assistant coaches.

Abdulai Gazale will head the new Kotoko youth set up as he is set to go to the club's partners Southampton for some training in the coming days while Johnson Smith has departed the club with the expiry of his contract.
