Kumasi Asante Kotoko are in the market bolstering their squad ahead of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season and the CAF Champions League.

There has been a lot of restructuring at the club with most of the deadwood in the squad shown the exit while new players who can improve the playing squad are been brought on board.

According to communications manger of the club, Moses Antwi Benefo the club will sign a Ugandan striker before the transfer window slams.

He says the striker will be a top notch addition to the forward line to ensure they go far in their African cup campaign.

"We are expecting the arrival of a Ugandan striker for our next season's campaign," Antwi Benefo told Oyerepa FM

"We are also expecting the arrival of all the locally-based players to complete their move tomorrow [Friday]"

Kotoko have started training this week after nearly six months of no football due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The porcupine warriors have already signed Kwame Poku, Emmanuel Sarkodie, Yusif Mubarik and Emmanuel Keyekeh in the current transfer window.
