Krif Ghana limited has targeted huge success in the global market after joining the fray with its new online shopping website.

The stationary and office equipment expert has been providing for the local market for the past 35 years, but  attracting customers from afar is the new direction, officials say.

Launching its first e-commerce website in December, the executive Director Reverend Kennedy Okosun said Krif has come of age to join the global market fray.

"Earlier we were targeting the 30 million Ghanaians which is the population of the geopoly but now the purpose is to launch a platform that is global, " he said.

"You can buy from Krif from London, You can buy from Krif from Azarbajan, You can buy from Krif from Afghanistan, You can buy from Krif from Cairo, from Tokyo etc.

"Won't that be good news that foreigners are buying from Krif because we have an E-commerce platform?
'So our imagination is running in a certain direction."

In its 35-years of operation, Krif has established six outlets in three regions across the  country, namely Greater Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.

However  the E-commerce platform comes in as a move to extend its boundaries beyond Ghana.

"Already we have walk-in location, retail outlets for our customers within this geopoly of 30 million Ghanaians.
"Today history is being made; we are going global and we are ready to serve the world.

"This time Krif is going global by extending its boundaries beyond this Geopoly or entity called Ghana."

Krif's E-commerce platform comes as another option that customers can access an online store to browse through, and place orders for products or services via their own devices.

It is the only online market visitors can find the prices of items being lower than that of its physical store prices.

According to Reverend Okusun, Krif has set a target for itself to become one of the best in online business, pledging to pursue it with with all resource available.

"We are now a global company not necessarily by becoming a multinational but being available anybody worldwide who wants to buy from Krif," he said.

"We are going to pursue this objective with all the energy and resources we have at our disposal."

Aside from outages or scheduled maintenance, the Krif E-commerce websites shall be available 24/7, allowing customers and visitors to the site to browse and shop at any time.

According to  Krif, the E-commerce will enable brands to make a wide array of products available, which will be then shipped from a warehouse after a purchase is made. Customers will likely have more success, finding what they want within a spectrum of time.

The company will also authenticate business transactions, control access to resources such as webpages for registered or selected users, encrypt communications, and implement security technologies, such as the Secure Sockets Layer and two – factor authentication.
