Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Airthur says former President John Agyekum Kufuor "is no longer a gentle giant but a lonely giant".

According to him, majority of the people who helped him in his administration are no longer part of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) electioneering campaign.

The vice president who claimed to have watched the NPP’s mammoth rally at the Accra International Trade Fair said he saw the former President lonely on the podium.

“Kufuor used to be the gentle giant, yesterday he was the lonely giant; none of those who worked with him are longer in the NPP’s campaign” he stated while addressing party supporters at a rally in Accra.

Mr. Amissah-Arthur wondered how a political party which is divided is working tirelessly to win power and promising change.

He maintained that, the change being promised is already happening under President Mahama thus Ghana should not go for a duplicate when the original is still working

“I don't know the kind of change NPP is calling for when they will continue all our projects. Why will we go for a duplicate when the original is still working” Veep stressed.

Mr. Amissah-Arthur urged Ghanaians to disregard the NPP deceit and vote massively for the NDC to continue their good works.
