Former President John Agyekum Kufuor will on Sunday, October 9, 2016 preside over the launch of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) launch.

The manifesto launch which was previously scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 8 in Tamale has however been moved to the Accra International Trade Fair Centre.

A statement signed by the Acting General Secretary of the Party, John Boadu said the new date and venue was arrived at on Monday, September 26 by the party’s Steering Committee.

According to the statement, the manifesto contains the solutions the flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the party propose to help fix the number of challenges facing the country.

Preceding the manifesto launch is a stakeholder briefing of the manifesto to civil society and identifiable groups, embassies and diplomatic missions as well as other political parties at the Unique Events Palace at the Trade Fair Centre at 12 pm.

The manifesto launch will be followed later in the afternoon by a major political rally, which will be opened to all supporters and members of the general public, the statement said.
