The founder and leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha has waded into the assault case involving Frederick Amanor and Patience Osafo, a nursing mother, at one of the branches of Midland Savings and Loans. .

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Adom FM, the man of God told Mike 2 that he was once ‘reprimanded’ by Lance Corporal Amanor over an altercation he had with award-winning journalist, Afia Schwarzenegger.

Prophet Kumchacha revealed that Lance Corporal Amanor questioned why he (Kumchacha) wanted to beat up Afia Schwarzenegger over a trivial issue.

Quizzed if Kumchacha was sure that it was the same policeman in question, he responded in the affirmative and revealed that he knew him very well.

To buttress his point, Prophet Kumchacha reveald that he knew more police personnel than he did pastors so it was little wonder he recognized Lance Corporal Amanor whnen his issue went viral.

The popular pastor went on to debunk the fact that he had cursed the policeman over his utterances. He however went on to admonish Ghanaians to be mindful of what they said about people were in certain situations.

About a week ago, social media went into a frenzy over a very worrying video involving a policeman assaulting a nursing mother carrying her baby.

The video received a lot of condemnation on social media with the masses calling for the head of the policeman in the video.

Not long after the video went viral, many government bodies and individual condemned the act resulting in the immediate arrest of the policeman.

The case has gone to court and Lance Corporal Amanor has pleaded not guilty of assault. He will reappear in court on August 8.

The lady in the video Patience Osafo, has had her life transformed after the incident owing to the fact that many Ghanaians have dug deep into their pockets to support her financially.

Recent checks conducted indicate that she has already received cash donations to the tune of GHc 40,000 already.

Top management at Midland Savings and Loans have officially apologized to the lady and the general public. The financial institution has also promised to compensate her.
