Ghana's Kwadwo Asamoah returned to Serie A action for Italian giants Inter Milan in their goal-less draw with AS Roma on Friday night.

The Ghanaian international midfielder, after a month injury layoff, replaced Cristiano Biraghi in the 72nd Minute with Inter pressing for a much needed victory.

After the game, the 29-year old took to Twitter to write, "A good team performance tonight. Now all focused on Tuesday".

Asamoah has not featured since October 29 when his Inter side won 2-1 away at Brescia.

He returned to the first team training last week but was an unused substitute in the 2-1 win over Spal last Sunday.

Inter are currently top of the Italian Serie A log on 38 pints, two clear off second place Juventus although the Narazurri have played a game more.

The old lady travel to the Stadio Olympico in Rome on Saturday to gave Lazio and win would see them topple Inter at the top of the log.
