Ghanaian striker Kwame Opoku was an unused substitute when his side USM Algiers clashed with ES Setif on Tuesday night.

The Ghanaian joined the Algerian side form Kumasi Asante Kotoko after an excellent first half of the season where he notched seven goals for Kotoko in the league.

His performance earned him a call up to the senior men's national team the Black Stars and started against South Africa in the 2021 AFCON qualifier in Johannesburg.

Kwame Opoku who joined the Algerian side for a reported fee of 450,000 euros was an unused substitute as his side drew their match day 20 game.

Compatriot Daniel Lomotey played for ES Setif as he came on from the bench but could not change much.
