Ghanaian forward Kwame Poku continued his impressive start to the season by scoring his third goal of the campaign for Peterborough United in their English League One clash against Lincoln City on Saturday.

In a closely contested match, Lincoln City took the lead in the first half when Ben House connected with a cross from Dom Jefferies, giving the visitors the advantage.

Peterborough struggled to break through Lincoln's defense until Poku's moment of brilliance in the 65th minute.

The 23-year-old leveled the score with a spectacular left-footed strike from outside the box, curling the ball past the goalkeeper to earn a crucial point for the Posh.

His performance once again highlighted his growing influence on the team as he looks to spearhead their push for promotion.

Poku’s goal takes his tally to three goals in five games this season, as he continues to be a key figure for Peterborough United in their pursuit of a return to the English Championship.
