Medeama SC midfielder Kwasi Donsu insists his side have all it takes to mount a genuine title challenge for the Ghana Premier League crown this season.

The Mauve and Yellows have made a blistering start to this season’s campaign and are a point behind league leaders AshantiGold with a game in advantage.

Speaking to the club’s website after their victory against Dreams FC, Donsu opined that finding ‘consistency’ will be key in their hopes of winning the ultimate prize.

"It's a good win for us but we must give respect to Dreams FC for the given us a tough assignment," he told medeamasc.com

"The belief is always there. When you play for such a club you start every competition believing that you can win it.

"Some bad games didn't allow us to win it last year, but we need to find that consistency that can make us fight in the last months and be one of those teams that will be up there.

"We're really pleased with our start, but it's only a start. We've won six games with confidence and good football. Let's see how it goes going forward."

Medeama next travel to the dreaded Golden City Park to host Berekum Chelsea after the league returns from a break.
