Barnsley defender Andy Yiadom is remaining tight-lipped about his future amid interest from Leeds United and insists the focus is to help his team survive the drop from the Championship.

Leeds are keen on the services of the Ghanaian international whose Barnsley contract runs out at the end of season.

New Leeds head coach Paul Heckingbottom wants to be reunited with Yiadom after a fruitful spell together at Oakwell.

"All that matters is keeping this football team up", Yiadom told Yorkshire Evening Post.

"We really need to get a win. We’ll do anything to get three points.

"At this stage of the season form goes out of the window."

Barnsley are currently outside the Championship relegation zone only on goal difference, with the Yorkshire club having picked up 33 points from 38 games.
