Leicester City paid Celtic an eye-watering £9m to secure the services of Brendan Rodgers and his backroom staff. Sky Sports News understands Rodgers had a release clause in excess of £6m in his Celtic contract, with the cost of hiring assistant manager Chris Davies, first-team coach Kolo Toure and head of performance Glen Driscoll raising the cost of recruitment to £9m.
