Liberty Professionals coach, George Lamptey has singled out the poor performance of two players as the reason for their abysmal display against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in their defeat on Saturday.

Kotoko scored in either half, courtesy goals from Dauda Mohammed and Eric Donkor to record a 2-0 away win.

However, coach Lamptey believes the Porcupine Warriors exploited the porous left flank of Liberty throughout the tie because his players were average.

He said, Antwi, who played at the left full-back position and Tamimu Muntari, the left midfielder were the weakest links in his team.

“Left midfield and left back slacked a little and that cost us the defeat, and that is where we need to strengthen,” coach Lamptey said after the game.

Liberty Professionals will make a trip to Obuasi to face Ashanti Gold on match day 25 of the Ghana Premier League.
