Mahama builds maternity facility for Atebubu

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has inaugurated a newly built maternity ward at the Atebubu Hospital in the Bono East Region.

Known as the Nana Owusu Akyeaw II Maternity Ward, it was fully funded by the former President.

 

The facility is equipped with incubators, ultrasound machines, surgical and delivery beds, and other advanced equipment to improve maternal health and delivery services for women in the area.

According to Mr. Mahama, the facility was built in response to a request from the Chief of Atebubu, Nana Owusu Akyeaw Brempong II, to ensure accessible healthcare services.

The new facility is equipped to provide maternal and neonatal services, deliveries, and postnatal support.
