Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru had played full throtle for his side Red Bull Salzburg in their 6 nil drubbing of Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga on Saturday.

The Ghanaian was intrumental for Salzburg as they brushed aside Altach by providing an assist in the game.

Red Bull Salzburg took the lead as early as the 5th minute through Malian centre forward Sekou Koita and not too long after the talented Ghanaian midfielder displayed the art in him by cunningly sending an audacious pass from a tight angle to Zambian forwrad Patson Daka who made no mistake about it to score the first of his hat trick on the day.

The Zambian then added his second and Salzburg third goal in the 24th minute after a smart move.

The former Wafa midfielder had the chance to put his name on the score sheet in the 53rd minute from the penalty spot but he blazed wide but he had the prolific Patson Daka for comfort as in the 55th minute he socred his third goal and the fourth for his team.

Ashimeru has already netted two goals this season in somewhat a very fruitful season with RB Salzburg who are also playing in the UEFA Champions league.

Smail Prevljak and Chan Hwang-Hee who scored against in Liverpoool midweek in the Champions league added gloss to the scoreline in  81st and 86th  minute respectively to seal a comprehensive 6-0 victory for Red Bull Salzburg.

The win further extends the gap to five points between  league leaders RB Salzburg and second placed Lask Linz who are on 23 points.
