New summer recruit Majeed Waris has promised two things to FC Nantes fans after joining the French Ligue 1 side– goals and an endless work ethic.

Earlier this week, the Ghanaian international swapped the Estádio do Dragão for Stade de la Beaujoire signing a season-long loan deal.

The 26 year old is expected to revive his career in France next season after his struggles in Portugal.

"I don't have a preferred position, I just want to score goals," Waris, who can play on either flank and as a hitman, said at his official unveiling.

"I wanted to play more, to improve, hence my choice to come to Nantes”
