Manchester United Legend Peter Schmeichel has taken a huge swipe at Daniel Amartey after his uninspiring display in Leicester City’s 2-1 defeat against Manchester United on Friday.

The 23 year old got off to a difficult start of the the 2018-19 English Premier League season with an infamous record of being the first player to give away a penalty, the first player to receive a caution and first to be substituted.

The Ghanaian international was a pale shadow of himself throughout the 63 minutes he stayed on the field.

Schmeichel who was a pundit for the game described Amartey’s performance as a terrible one.

“Amartey had a terrible game.

“I was surprised he took him off in the second half.

“He should have taken off in the first half,” he told SuperSports.
