Dreams FC remain unbeaten at the start of the season after defeating WA All Stars by a lone goal at the Cape Coast Stadium on Wednesday.

Sharani Zuberu scored the only goal of the game as early as the 6th minute after latching unto a beautifully pass by strike partner Eric Gawu to give Dreams the lead at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The inform starlet has now taken his season tally to two goals in three games.

The ‘Still Believe’ lads remained largely untroubled and continued to dominate proceedings till half time with Kwadwo Asamoah and Godfred Asante the main architects in midfield.

Dreams had a penalty shout few minutes after the restart after Pimpong was brought down by Zakaria but referee Daniel Laryea was not interested.

Replays however suggests the home team might feel hard done by the decision.

Sharani had a glorious opportunity to make it 2-0 in the 63rd minute but his attempt was thwarted by goalkeeper Rashid who was equal to the task.

Veteran striker Eric Gawu also came close a couple of times but the 1-0 scoreline remained unchanged at full time.

Newly promoted Dreams have now recorded an impressive 7 points out of the possible 9 while former champions WA All Stars have amassed only a point so far.
