Beauty Queen Nihad Idrissu Ayobi is set to launch her project which is meant to support Education in the Upper East region.

She is the reigning Miss Upper East Ghana 1st Runner Up and Miss Popularity titleholder.

Nihad is a final year student of the Valley View University(main campus).

Nihad is a model and an Advocate of the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).She is passionate about empowering students with disabilities.To this end,she is championing a disability friendly learning environment in schools.

She was the only Bissa among the 12 ladies selected across the region to promote their respective cultures for pride.

The finals 3rd edition of the Miss Upper East Ghana beauty pageant was held early January this year.

The Bissa lady had her basic and junior high school education in Bawku and further went to Islamic girls senior high in Eastern Region.

As part of her efforts to give back to society, Nihad will be embarking on a school outreach and donation project scheduled in October within the Bawku municipality.

The project aims at highlighting disability rights in schools.In light of the increasing cases of teenage pregnancy,the project will also educate pupils on Sexual and reproductive health.
