Ashanti Regional branch of the aggrieved customers of defunct gold dealership firm, Menzgold are accusing customer relations officers of the company of bolting with their documents.

The customers who are casting doubt on the ongoing validation process across the country noted that they fear it may not capture true customers who cannot trace their documents.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Public Relations Officer for Ashanti Regional Menzgold customers, Amankwah Baffuor said genuine customers who are finding it difficult to secure their documents for the exercise are apprehensive about the process and are already having cold feet.

“Most customers have their contracts with their customer relations officers, and it’s difficult to establish contacts with them to retrieve it as we speak now. Notwithstanding, we just have to go through the process. We have received a lot of complaints about the process but let’s cope and see the outcome of it.” Mr Baffuor urged customers on.

The management of Menzgold has underscored the need for the exercise indicating it’ll to afford them the opportunity to get authentic data they can work with when it comes to payment.

“We can’t rule out the fact that there are people who can infiltrate the system, and we want to weed out those people from the system. Validation will cure all those things. Because the validation will give you a receipt.

“Every Menzgold customer must go for the validation in our centres. We have earmarked 30 days for this. Make sure you take part in this exercise. We are working with documentation and we’ve listed five of them. If you have two or more take it to the centres and we’ll work on them.
