Mfantsipim SHS mourn old boy Amissah-Arthur; describe him as "a true son of Kwabotwe”.

The Mfantsipim Senior High School have expressed sadness over the death of former Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, an old student of the school.
The country woke up to news of the death of the Former Governor of the Bank of Ghana on Friday after he was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Mr. Amissah-Arthur was reportedly jogging in the gym at the Air Force Gym where he collapsed.

He was the fifth Vice-President of the Fourth Republic and was in office from August 6, 2012, until January 7, 2017, under President John Dramani Mahama.

Expressing their sympathy to the bereaved family, the school referred to Mr. Amissah- Arthur in a tweet as “former Vice President of the Republic and a true son of Kwabotwe”.
