Ghana’s Frederick Lawson and Duke Micah both got wins in their respective boxing bouts at the Resort World Casino in Jamaica, Queens, New York on Saturday.

Lawson, who was fighting for the second time in 2017, knocked out Fidel Munoz of Colombia in the 3rd round to retain his WBC International Silver Welterweight title.

The victory was a follow-up on his win over Sakima Mullings of Jamaica recorded in Accra earlier this year.

Micah went the distance to win against Jose Gonzalez of Mexico 95-95, 96-94 and 96-94 to defend his WBC International Silver Bantamweight title.

Lawson now has a 26-1 record while Micah has an 18-0 record.
