MTN GFA Awards 2024 to celebrate Ghanaian football excellence set for October 19

The prestigious MTN Ghana Football Association (GFA) Awards 2024 is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, at the Dr. Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium of the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA).

This much-anticipated event will shine a spotlight on exceptional performances in Ghanaian football over the 2023/24 season.

A notable development for this year’s edition is the sponsorship by telecommunications giant MTN, partnering with the GFA to ensure a remarkable experience for football fans and stakeholders.

The awards will honor top players and contributors from various football competitions in the country, including the Ghana Premier League, Women’s Premier League, Division One League, FA Cups, and regional juvenile and divisional leagues.

Special recognition will also be given to standout referees, young talents, and other key contributors to the sport.

This will be the second edition of the GFA Awards, following the successful inaugural ceremony held at the same venue last year, further solidifying its role in acknowledging the dedication and hard work of individuals in Ghanaian football.
