Medeama SC shot-stopper Muntari Tagoe on Saturday presented food items to the Assurance of Hope Children's Home in Teshie - Accra.

The donation formed part of the player and his group social contribution to the needy.

The items are food ,cloths,soft drinks,water and undisclosed amount of money.

Presenting the items, Tagoe expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given to him by the Home to make his donation to the less privileged since social protection was key to human development.

"It was not I alone,we are group of people, Is a very good channel we have taken, this our first time but that would not be the last but the beginning of a long lasting relationship,with time we can do more as time goes on".

The former Zatuna Fc goalie was optimistic that even though the items would not solve all the problems of the Home but it would go in a long way to help some of their immediate needs.

Mr Rev Enoch Y Mensah, founder and Director of the Home received the items and thanked the the Medeama skipper for remembering the less fortunate in the society.


"I welcome you for coming to our aid,what we have to say is God bless you for bringing these items to our door-steps.

Rev Y Mensah was hopeful that the gesture would not be a one off thing but rather the beginning of lasting relationship between them for the benefit of the children.
