Ghanaian singer, rapper Eazzy has said her struggle to becoming one of the popular female artistes was never based on the ‘exchange sex for fame’ belief.

In an interview, the former Lynx Entertainment signee artiste in response to a question asked if she has fell prey to the “sex for fame” situation as a female musician.

According to her, she has never exchanged sex for fame at any time in her life as an artiste.

Stating why she has never fallen victim to such act, Eazzy said she was signed under a record label when she began her music career so was fortunate she did not encounter such problem.

“I haven’t personally faced those challenges. I think that coming up with management from the start helped so people didn’t have a personal relationship with me or access with me to be able to ……”

“But it comes with how much you respect yourself as a woman and how you put your brand”. She noted in her interview.


Real named Mildred Ashong, Eazzy advised young female artistes to know their value and stand firm with strong decisions so that people do not take advantage of them in such instances.

The former representative at the 2012 Big Brother Africa reality show is yet to release a third album which features lots of artistes in the industry.
