Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant Fred Pappoe says that his six-year stint working with Kwasi Nyantakyi as the vice president of the GFA will not jeopardize his presidential bid.

The Former GFA vice president served as the vice president under the first term of the erstwhile Kwasi Nyantakyi administration before stepping down.

According to him his relationship with his former boss will have no adverse effect on his bid to be president of the football association.

Fred Pappoe is among six contestant jostling for the GFA hot seat and says he is the most experienced among the aspirants and should be given the top job.

Meanwhile some analyst has suggested that his relationship with Kwasi Nyantakyi will be a dent on his election fortunes but speaking last night on Citi Tv he brushed it aside saying his former boss will have no bearing on his presidential bid.

“I have not given it any thought that my relationship with [Nyantakyi] will have any effect on my campaign am just confident that my campaign and manifesto will do the trick” he said.
