‘My time of reckoning has arrived’ — Obinim breaks down in tears
1st February 2024
Bishop Angel Obinim, the founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, is crying over the loss of his congregation and admitting that he has made many mistakes in the past.
The well-known prophet could be seen sobbing in a video that SikaOfficial posted to Instagram, admitting that he and Rev. Obofour of the Anointed Palace Chapel were having an unwarranted falling out.
Angel Obinim bemoaned his unexpected loss of everything and how he had once led thousands of people in his church.
Despite having the numbers, he claimed that at one point, whether in Kumasi, Accra, or Tema, he could hardly get 200 people to attend his church.
Speaking from a location that is unknown, Angel said that the fall of his religion has caused him to experience a lot of struggles, though he did not mention any of the said problems.
“I got into an unnecessary fight with Rev. Obofour, but what are we seeing now? I used to have thousands of members, but I’ve now lost them all. I even had trouble at one point getting 200 members in Tema, Accra, or Kumasi. He sobbed on live video, saying,” he stated as he breaks down in tears on live camera.
The contentious prophet made headlines last week when he freely admitted that, contrary to what his past assertions implied, he does not possess the ability to transform into snakes or other wild animals.
He also apologized for picking a fight with Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central.
