Renowned Dutch Football journalist Marco Timmer has disclosed Eredivise outfit Ajax are interested in signing AZ Alkmar attacking sensation Myron Boadu.

According to the Voetbal International reporter, the highly rated Dutch born Ghanaian Youngster can not turn down an offer from Ajax should the Champions League participant place in a bid in January.

Ajax are currently looking for a long term replacement for Serbian forward Dusan Tadic and have line up a couple of budding talents.

But it seems Myron Boadu is top of their priority list as reported by Timmer.

“I can imagine that if you are still looking for a good, talented number nine, a striker, as a replacement for Tadic. Because let's face it; Huntelaar does not have eternal life, he is 36. Then of course Boadu is a masterful replacement I think", Timmer said

"I don't know if AZ just lets him go. This boy consciously chose AZ at the time, for the training. But it is clear that he is on the list at Ajax", the journalist added.

Timmer further added that Stengs and Wijndal are also interest options for the Champions League participant.

“It is also clear that Stengs has been viewed by Ajax much more often. That they are part of the Dutch national team only confirms that they are very good players.

"In whom Ajax will just be interested. And perhaps also in Owen Wijndal, if for example Angeliño turns out not to be feasible. Wijndal is also doing very well.

“If Ajax really wants, there is no stopping it. They can pay those boys salaries that others cannot pay. And they have the money in cash to get those boys", Timmer concluded.
