President-Elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has commended controversial Ghanaian musician and comedian, A-Plus for helping him in his recent victory in the presidential elections.

While thanking people who supported his campaign at a thanksgiving church service held at the Accra Sports Stadium, the president-elect failed to acknowledge A-plus but came back via a Facebook post to describe the musician as a "brick" in his campaign.

“In the heat of the moment yesterday, I forgot to acknowledge the immense support Kwame A Plus gave to my campaign. He's been a brick. I thank him and I'm really grateful.” the post read

Nana Akufo-Addo beat incumbent President John Dramani Mahama at the December 7 polls after gathering 53.87 percent of the total votes cast.

President Mahama had 44.40% of the votes.

A-plus openly supported Nana Addo during the elections with his song ‘Ab?n B? Bom’ which sort to reveal the negative aspects of the National Democratic Congress administration.

The song generated a lot of controversy especially among supporters of the two main political parties the NPP and the NDC
