Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf has dropped Ghanaian winger Nana Ampomah in their plans for next season's campaign.

The Ghanaian, who is on loan at the Belgian Jupilar League will have to wait for more years to know his faith with the German side as the team says he is still not part of their plan

"He will not return to us," said Düsseldorf's sports director Uwe Klein to the 'Rheinische Post.

"He is not planned for us for the next season."

Ampomah is currently on loan from Fortuna to Belgium's Royal Antwerp, where he was only used sporadically recently, playing a total of 24 competitive games.

According to the “Rheinischer, “various scenarios” have been incorporated into the purchase option agreed between the two clubs, which make a permanent transfer “quite likely”.

Before joining Fortuna Düsseldorf, Ampomah had played for Waasland-Beveren and KV Mechelen since 2016.
