Manchester United are a club in crisis at the moment, and Ghana winger Christian Atsu is confident Newcastle United can inflict further misery on beleaguered Jose Mourinho this Saturday.

United have gone four games without a win and are sitting tenth in the Premier League table after seven games.

Meanwhile the Magpies are winless so far this season and head to Old Trafford third-bottom of the Premier League following a deflating 2-0 defeat to Leicester City last Saturday.

“We know it will be a tough game for both teams," Atsu told the Chronicle.

"They are struggling too and so are we.

“We have to stick together. We can’t lose our heads and the big teams don’t get beaten three or four times in a row.

“We have to change things ourselves. This is the moment we need everybody to get behind the team. We think the fans deserve better.

“We’re working hard and trying to change everything. For me, one win will change the atmosphere around the club.”

The former Chelsea man made 28 league appearances involving 19 starts and scored twice for Newcastle last season.
