In a somber incident in Baltimore, Maryland, a Nigerian woman, Uju Onyeyili, met a tragic fate.

It was only after concerned neighbors raised alarm about a foul odour emanating from her apartment that her demise came to light.

Hailing from Abatete in Anambra State, Uju Onyeyili had reportedly been involved in an accident two weeks prior, after which she abandoned her car at the scene and returned home.

Alarming to her neighbors, they hadn't seen her for a week, and they began to notice the noxious smell.

Concerned about her well-being, they contacted the police and reported the situation, including the abandoned car.

Police promptly initiated an investigation, leading them to the discovery of Uju Onyeyili's decomposing body in her residence.

Tragically, no close relatives in the US could be reached.

The police took the unusual step of sharing Uju's photo online, appealing to family members to claim her remains or face state disposal.

Uju Onyeyili's remains were eventually laid to rest by the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (USA branch).

Her interment ceremony took place on Saturday, October 21st, at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.

Prior to her passing, Uju Onyeyili was a dedicated member of the Olumba Olumba Obu sect, and her untimely demise has left a community grieving her loss.
