American rapper Nicki Minaj has drawn the ire of Nigerians after jamming to a Ghanaian song with her boyfriend.

The award-winning artiste and her fiancé Kenneth Petty have been flaunting their love on social media in recent times.

In an Instagram post, Nicki Minaj posted a video of them jamming to a song by a Ghanaian songstress known as Nana Fofie.

The song is a 2017 mashup and contains “Do Like That” by Korede Bello and “Mad Over You” by Runtown of Nigeria.

However, most Nigerians were not happy with the artiste and her boo for jamming to the mashup instead of the original songs.

Some of the Nigerian social media users subsequently turned on Nicki Minaj and the Ghanaian singer in the comment section.

Others also called on Korede Bello and Runtown to sue Nana Fofie for copyrights infringement.
