Nine players claim NASCO Man of the Match honours in GPL Week 11

The Week 11 of the Ghana Premier League concluded with nine players earning the match coveted NASCO Man of the Match awards for their outstanding performances across the weekend’s fixtures.

Aduana FC’s Stephen Anokye Badu and eight others became the recipients of the prestigious award following their exceptional displays in their respective matches.

Medeama SC’s Salim Adams was recognised for his contribution in his side’s goalless draw with Bechem United FC, while Joseph Quansah took the honours in Karela United FC’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Basake Holy Stars FC.

FC Samartex 1996’s Ebenezer Acquah earned the accolade despite his side being held to a goalless draw by Asante Kotoko SC. Hohoe United FC’s Daniel Osei Senior impressed in his team’s 1-1 stalemate with Eleven Wonders FC, and Vision FC’s Maxwell Kwaku Sensah shone in his side’s entertaining 2-2 draw against Heart of Lions FC.

In the Bono Derby, Aduana FC’s Stephen Anokye Badu delivered an exceptional performance as his side secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea FC, with his influential display earning him the Man of the Match award.

Nations FC’s Faisal Charwetey was instrumental in his team’s 2-0 triumph over Goldstars FC, whilst Young Apostles FC’s Richmond Opoku stood out in his side’s goalless encounter with Hearts of Oak SC.

Swedru All Blacks FC’s Rudolf Junior Nana Mensah received his award as his side claimed an impressive 3-2 away victory over Dreams FC.

The weekend’s action produced a mixture of results, with three matches ending goalless and several fixtures delivering entertaining end-to-end football across the various venues.
