Popular radio presenter with Adepa FM, Jacklord Duah, widely called DJ Jay Dee, has tipped fast-rising Afropop/highlife act, Akosua Serwaa, known in showbiz as Vicky Brown, to win Artiste of the Year in the upcoming NKZ Music Awards 2020.

According to the astute broadcaster, he is not surprised that Vicky Brown who won the Hiplife Artiste of the Year during the maiden NKZ Music Awards, has been clutched up on the ladder this time, for the Artiste of the Year category.

Speaking on his mid-morning show on the Techiman-based media outlet, Jay Dee posited that the series of efforts put up by the songstress in her career for the year under review is phenomenal and therefore deserves to be crowned the overall artiste in this year event.

In his analysis, he said the talented artiste has infused loads of effort in promoting her craft, having visited TV stations such as Adom TV, Atinka TV, United TV. Kessben TV, Next TV, Thunder TV and Ice TV.

Vicky Brown, according to Jay Dee has similarly toured notable radio stations in Accra, Kumasi, Techiman, Kintampo, Nkoranza, Berekum, Wenchi, Koforidua, Atebubu, Sunyani amongst to promote her works, ie: 'Nkontompo', 'Bushiame', 'Kofi Adoma' as well as her new release 'Di me Bronya'.

Aside from the TV/radio tours, Jay Dee also voted Vicky to win the ultimate title following her performances in Kumasi, Koforidua, Techiman, Kintampo, and Nkoranza in a bit to carve a nitch for her brand.

In all, Vicky, who is also a professional nurse, has bagged 7 nominations including the Artiste of the Year slot and is looking forward to zipping them up during the second edition of the NKZ Music Awards, which comes off on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Nkoranza in the Bono East Region.
