The GFA Normalisation Committee has expressed their beliefs in Asante Kotoko to qualify to the quarter final stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The  Normalization Committee (N.C) on Wednesday supported  Asante Kotoko with $30,000, urging the team to beat Zesco in Sunday's showdown 

Speaking on happy FM on Thursday, Member of the Committee Naa Odofoley Nortey assured the team of the NC's full support, saying they believe in the porcupines' ability to come out victors in their last group c encounter against Zesco in Ndola on Sunday.

"Kotoko should know that the whole country is behind them and the Normalization committee is fully supporting them. We wish them all the best," she said.

"We believe in Kotoko and we believe in their ability to make Ghana proud. They are doing well and we urge them to continue."

The NC has also expressed hopes that the financial support  will "motivate the porcupine warriors to conquer Zesco football club and advance to the next stage of the competition." 

Kotoko sit at the 3rd position with 7 points, 2 points adrift the group leaders Nkana FC, who are also playing as guests of 2nd positioned Al Hilal Omdurman

They are in dire need of a win in their last group C match of the Caf Confederation Cup against Zesco United, which will guarantee them a spot in the quarter-finals

The team left Ghana for Ethiopia Wednesday enroute to Zambia for their upcoming game on Sunday March 17, 2019.
