Ex Ghana international Abubakar Damba has suggested, for the Black Stars to win back their unflinching support they had from Ghanaians years back, the should go to the extent of forfeiting their winning Bonus.
The former Ghana goalie speaking on Takoradi based Empire FM, referenced the Brazil 2014 Debacle as the root of the fans limited support lately.
According to Damba the only way for the fans to draw that interest back is for the team to start winning repeatedly or perhaps to start thinking of playing without bonus.

“It’s obvious that these issues started when we went to Brazil and have deepened in events that have ensued after”.
“But I think the only way to appease the fans is maybe when we change our attitude, we stop talking about money, money, money all the time and let’s go ahead play football and win, then we can draw the fans back.
“If it even means that playing minus bonuses; let us see how we can win back the heart of Ghanaians”. He said
