Hassan Ayariga, the founder and leader of the All People’s Congress (APC) has said  the New Patriotic Party organised a hack into the official website of the Electoral Commission which caused the EC's inability to transmit the results electronically via internet.

Hassan Ayariga, alleged the NPP compromised the EC's machines transmitting results to the National Collation Centre to favour them, for which reason they claim to be in the lead in the presidential polls.

“The NPP hacked into EC’s website to change figures in their favour that is why they are claiming to be winners which is a blatant lie,” Hassan added.

The interviewer's attempt to school Ayariga on what EC chairperson Charlotte Osei said about the results transmission did not work as he (Ayariga), retorted, "There’s everything possible so if there’s an attempted hack it amount to jail because an attempted murder is a murder."

When asked if he’s scared President Mahama a man  he firmly supports could lose the elections, he said “I’am not scared of anything… I was going to contest him but I later withdrew to support him. For me apart from the presidency, there’s no other positions that I will occupy in this country, I don’t need it… Is either the president or I’ill do my philanthropic work.”
