Ghanaian businessman and politician, Akwasi Addai Odike says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would have victimized the Independent presidential aspirant, Alan Kyerematen if he was corrupt.

Speaking on Morning Starr with Francis Abban, Mr. Odike stated Alan Kyerematen is not a corrupt politician.

According to him, Mr. Kyerematen is a pillar of integrity both prior to and during his time in government; there have been no whispers of any corrupt practices associated with him.

“Yes because Kojo Kyerematen in his life both before and in government, I have never heard any corrupt card about him”, the businessman stated.

He further stated if there were any damning records about Mr. Kyerematen the world have known by now.

“As far as I’m concerned I’ve never heard and I don’t think per where he is coming from, if there is any, the whole world would have heard it. Because of NPP, you can’t leave NPP and go scout-free. I know them. They are very vindictive and if there is anything of that sort, it could have been on the airwaves by now,” Mr. Odike stated.

However, Mr. Kwadwo Kyerematen has called on Ghanaians to reject the governing NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the impending 2024 general elections.

The Independent presidential candidate disclosed this during the launched of his “Great Transformational Plan (GTP)” in Accra on June 24, 2024.

Mr. Kyerematen indicated that the GTP “is a blueprint to Ghana’s economic transformation and outlines robust policy prescriptions and practical steps towards building an enterprise economy in the country.”
