Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has accused former spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as the brain behind investigation by Tiger Eye PI to "set Nyantakyi up" in the recently premiered Number 12 video.

The exposé which centres on corruption in the Ghanaian football arena caught the former GFA President taking a bribe and also using the name of President Nana Akufo-Addo to solicit same while making some very explosive comments about the president and other leading members of his government.

The video also captured leading members of the FA and other football-related people in very corrupt practices.

According to the maverick politician, Nyantakyi was framed by Randy Abbey to purposely to get him out of the FA presidency so he takes over.

Randy Abbey who currently hosts the “Metro TV’s” Good Morning Ghana newspaper review programme was one of Nyantakyi’s trusted lieutenants when he was elected as FA president, however, the pair later fell out following certain misunderstandings.

Kennedy Agyapong made the allegations in an interview with FOX 97.9 FM amidst series of allegations against Award-winning investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
