Striker Majeed Waris has failed to live up to expectations so far after completing a move from FC Lorient to FC Porto in January 2018.

The two clubs agreed a loan move until the end of the season with an option to make the deal permanent for €6m.

It’s been three months after the closure of the winter market, the question arises: what has been Majeed’s impact since joining the Dragons?

The numbers suggest the Ghanaian has clearly struggled to get to grips with life in Portugal so far.

He has featured eight times for Porto playing a total of 233 minutes in all competition and is yet to score or assist a goal for the club.

A move that felt like the right fit a few months ago is beginning to look like bad business,  Majeed will need to up his game in the final stretch of the season if he hopes of staying in Portugal any longer than this summer.
