“it’s more of a conversation too”, singer Worlasi opines to ENEWSGH ahead of his widely anticipated Nus3 Concert which comes off this Saturday, November 26 at Alliance Francaise.

Nus3, the singer’s debut album, was released to rave reviews when it was released last year. That album has proven to be a worthy springboard for his career as it has, in that time, catapulted him into becoming the favourite of music lovers and key music players alike.

Worlasi admits that the concert, which also witnesses supporting performances from colleagues Akan, Cina Soul, M.anifest, Six Strings, Poetra Asantewaa among others.

“it feels like a great responsibility”, he confesses. “I want people to understand what I’m trying to say with my music, not just listen for pleasure. It’s more than that”.

The artist, who has already collaborated with Da’Hammer, Sarkodie, M.anifest, Sena Dagadu, among others, also intends for the concert to be a sort if reintroduction.

“I can’t even tell what to expect [but if] they [fans] want to know what Worlasi is about, then they shud come around”, he says about the concert.

Signed to Supreme Rights Records, Worlasi’s latest single is titled Nukata (Why), and laments the significant burden funding a relationship in this age can prove to be.
