Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari made his competitive debut for his new club KAA Gent in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League game.

The winger joined  Gent this summer after impressive form for Slovakian side AS Trencin where he made a name for himself.

He was on the radar of several top side's in Europe but Belgium side KAA Gent won the race for his signature.

Osman Bukari saw 23 minutes of action for Gent in their 1-0 win over Mouscron when he came on as a 67th minute substitute for Jordan Botaka.

Genk beat Royal Mouscron by a lone goal scored by Nicklas Dorsch after the away side missed a penalty kick.

Bukari had attracted interest from a lot of clubs across Europe with the likes of Galatasaray, Monaco, Parma ,Sporting Lisbon, Benfica all monitoring the player but he spurned all overtures to join Gent.

It was not strange to see why a raft of clubs were queuing for his signature as he was undoubtedly the best attacker in the Slovakian league winning eight man of the match awards.

As if that was not enough he scored an impressive 11 goals while providing 15 assists in 30 matches for Trencin in the Slovakian league.

He made a total of 66 appearances for the Slovakian side scoring 16 goals while providing 25 assists.

Osman Bukari joined Trencin from lower tier side Accra Lions in 2018.
