The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has raised concerns about the quality of justice delivery in the country following how the members of the New Patriotic Party-affiliated group, the Delta Force were dealt with by the court for their role in political party vigilantism.
It would be recalled that 13 members of the Delta Force were convicted by a district court last month for conspiracy to riot and rioting and fined GH¢1,800 each.
They were also to sign bonds to be of good behavior for 12 months or in default go to jail for 12 months.
The 13 were arrested by the police after they attacked the newly appointed Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator, George Agyei.
