Out of contract Hearts of Oak defender, Joseph Owusu Bempah has revealed his contract details with the Phobians and named Bechem United's Abednego Tetteh as the most "deadly" attacker he played against in the Ghana Premier League last season.

Speaking on Ashh FM's "Super Sports" show, Bempah whose contract with the Phobians expired at the end of the 2015/16 season told host "Action" that the Bechem goal poacher was a hard nut to crack in their Premier League encounter away at Bechem labeling the striker's performance as phenomenal.

"This season I will say Bechem United's Abednego Tetteh was difficult to mark. He was very phenomenal in our match against them at Bechem. That match was all about Abednego Tetteh." He admitted

The former Ghana U-20 captain believes the Bechem forward gave Hearts Of Oak's tough-tackling defender Inusah Musah a run for his money in the clash at Nana Gyeabour's park, saying Abednego defied Inusah's great "air ball" qualities to shine in the match.

"If you look at the nature of Bechem's field, you realize that it suits Abednego's ability in the air. That day he won every air ball and if you look at a player like Inusah Musah who is equally good in the air you realize that he was completely silenced by the striker in that game. He was the man of the game." He praised the Bechem attacker

Owusu Bempah revealed that he has been contacted by Bechem United but is not certain on where his next destination will be.

" I held talks with Bechem United but I cannot say for sure that I will be moving there next because it's early days yet. You never know what could happen so let's see." The former New Edubiase right back said.

On why he decided not to renew his contract with the Phobians, he claimed that the team did not show interest in retaining him as his contract neared its end hence his decision to move on.

"I think it was possible for me to stay at Hearts but things did not go as planned. As a player when your contract nears its end you expect the team to approach you but if the team does not do so and wait until the end of the league to end before doing that then you as a player should know what that means. It could mean that they may have alternative plans so as a player you have to assess the situation and move on." He reasoned.
